A GENEROUS DONOR HAS MADE A $100,000 GIFT AND CHALLENGES ALL OF US TO MATCH IT.
We are calling upon all our friends to see whether we can raise the match of $100,000 this spring, guaranteeing a total of $200,000 to benefit the KFA and the School.

At Oak Grove School, we will be able to sustain current programs and make needed capital improvements.
Oak Grove School has classrooms to expand, a magical organic garden to sustain, and an incredible vegetarian lunch program to support. We have beautiful old wooden buildings that need tender loving care. Like good grooming or fresh clothes, our buildings say a lot about our state of being. Your collective gifts will radiate as a clean and beautiful environment for our children.

The Ojai East End complex, home to the Pepper Tree Retreat, the Krishnamurti Archives, and Krishnamurti’s former home Pine Cottage, needs some TLC and expansion. Your gifts will help us  repair trails and build new ones, restore habitat for flora and fauna, keep pace with our renovation plan to make Pine Cottage a program center we can be proud of, and continue to make incremental improvements to the Retreat. Upcoming programs: Donations support the summer Teaching Academy, a two-week intensive for young or experienced teachers who take the time to immerse themselves in Krishnamurti's approach to education. What a difference this program makes! To see a short video, click HERE.
A successful Challenge Appeal will help fund improvements in our audio/video system so that the Teaching Academy and all our other programs have the best way to screen the many Krishnamurti videos in our collection.

We will be able to fund continuing expansion of www.jkrishnamurti.org, the website that provides free access to hundreds of transcribed talks, and a rapidly expanding collection of video and audio recordings. The website is becoming more and more functional, with the potential to serve a wide range of users, from academic scholars researching specific issues, to someone who wants to begin to explore Krishnamurti for the first time. It costs a lot to maintain and expand this website, and ensure it is readily accessible from anywhere in the world, and that people know about its existence. The Challenge Appeal can really help this project.
