Kindly be mindful of the following points regarding the forum. Dialogue is thinking together - it isn’t debate - and it's inquiring together without end point or agenda. People come into the dialogue from their own place of understanding, which is not going to be your place of understanding. We’re here to communicate together, learn together and gain insight into our own thought; to receive and share our observations, not impose our views on others. Address the comments in a polite, considerate manner. By all means, ask for clarification, but challenge the comment, not the commentator. We don’t know enough about the others to make those judgments and we’re here to learn about ourselves, not to correct another's perceived personality flaws. If a comment brings an emotional response, look at that. Do you feel the need to defend? To attack? Time for some looking inward. Self protection results in war. Besides, the war is in each of us. Stop that war, and the rest will take care of itself. (For some suggestions on the nature of dialogue, please click here)

an orgasm of the heart is really just wishful thinking, and while it has its place, the flip side makes the whole thing a circular loss...

Eden  In fairness to everyone your personal point of view of what actually occurred is not entirely true . .I did try to point out how your macho male plagiarized  ideas would affect your relationship with your child, and wife, in the wild. I even tried to point out how the beliefs would even hurt them and how uncooperative they were in your relationship with your wife . I am sorry if you thought otherwise since i do not know your wife or child but i was listening to you rant . Talking to to you about your wild man rants . Addressing your ideas, about going back to the dark ages, escaping into the woods, and pointing out where they led .

I take full responsibility for the confusion . Pearl you are right that i am too old for you. As for  neurosis that disease has to be attached to a belief we  hold dear, and defend. A person dead or alive we  compare others to like idolizing Jesus, or someone we  only read about in a book. Sometimes a movie star.  Someone we never knew personally ourselves not that psychological comparison is ever from an inner state of goodness, insights, or fair to anyone. Psychological labeling is not even good for our children .  That comparison of others with Jesus, or anyone else we read about, or saw on video   is from an actual nervous disorder called neurosis . :-)

First of all, I hardly ranted.  You were the daily ranter. Secondly, I never suggested going back to the dark ages in any way, nor did I ever suggest escaping into the woods, rather that was your own neurosis which continues to misinterpret me to this day. You couldn't relate to what I was sharing and naturally your immature brain had to slap some sort of label on me, and "cannibal" was the best you could come up with.  How lame.

Indeed, you do many stupid things knowing how stupid.  Thus far you've only played games.

I've said many a time: Bruce is quite stupid, left to his own devices. Bruce is an idiot.

No, no: once he's dead he's dead, he can't come back. Just like a magician's trick: once it's seen, it's over. He WAS a magician's trick.

Fine we will stick to your admittance . You were an ass in those days  but an ass that still thinks you were  never wrong about chest thumping and playing Tarzan. Living self sufficiently as the macho male ruling the family, or tribe.

Going back to the woods and shunning science, and technology, and all education for your children except the education you think they need? Deciding picking and choosing  from your own limited experiences, and personal decisions and  memories with almost no cooperation whatsoever in your relationship with your own wife? Only you as the King of your family, living in a tent, or log cabin  in the woods, think is necessary ? I never used the word cannibal excluding myself.

I think Lena suggested you sounded like a  cannibal . She was not far from wrong about most of us was she ? We eat our cousins like cannibals whether we do the killing, or the carving up, or the  butcher does, and most still think war, influence,  and debate is the path to discussion, dialogue and inner peace ?     Any human being a new Adam or a new Eve   can play at being  an Alpha male, or female, or a beautiful silver back ape here ?

Thumping our  own chest fighting with our  fellow mankind in our  own prime  time. We  most of us are still acting like Cretans without any real goodness, or love, or light of our  own inside helping us  make a mirror to see what vain animals most really are becoming by trying to hide from what is, and not face facts about ourselves being similar to the rest of mankind  ?

Eden please Keep in mind your also talking about Troys Ning not anything that happened here at the K.F.A. forum. Even  Troy erred when he  continued  his own personal prejudices, and brought others pasts, and others malicious gossip, his own personal grudges  about them, from Ning, and Kinfonet  here . Even bringing gossip about others past,   into his own decisions to censor, and erase people here .  Most  ridicule others  past without seeing their own past mistakes ?  I think if you've never been banned from anywhere, never admitted you were wrong, never extremely generous, your not much of an Inquirer, or explorer anyway. At  the least your not speaking out for reasonable  free speech, and the right to a reasonable defense,  and most of us have been asses in the past even Troy, and myself .   :-)

Whether we see it or not, both strategies in the becoming, and  unbecoming entity, are  false and cannot be ended without an awareness of the totality of the self conscious self ? A seeing that includes what we most are in denial of,  the deeper fear, at the root of both the assertive, positing aggressive bullying, becoming self , as well as the asserting, positing aggressive  unbecoming self ?  It is fear that is the engine of both strategies fundamentally no different in life. Both strategies, patterns maintain the self without negating or ending the self creatively, as an original   in life, in direct contact with life itself . :-)

What is it to be aware without bias, without the interference of the past ?  ? Is it possible to say i am awareness, and be aware ? Or more reasonable to say I am similar thick air, mirrors and smoke without flame, as  all assertions, and fundamental self positing, or non self positing and bragging of most of mankind, mentally enslaved to thought, and mostly not aware of that myself ?  :-)

Re: why do you believe krishnamurti

there is no one, who is awareness. the thought is not mine, the body is not mine, the mind is not mine, the name is not mine. so what is yours?

the stream of consciousness undergoes a constant ending, which is the constant transformation of accumulation, in which there is truth, is not mine
