Kindly be mindful of the following points regarding the forum. Dialogue is thinking together - it isn’t debate - and it's inquiring together without end point or agenda. People come into the dialogue from their own place of understanding, which is not going to be your place of understanding. We’re here to communicate together, learn together and gain insight into our own thought; to receive and share our observations, not impose our views on others. Address the comments in a polite, considerate manner. By all means, ask for clarification, but challenge the comment, not the commentator. We don’t know enough about the others to make those judgments and we’re here to learn about ourselves, not to correct another's perceived personality flaws. If a comment brings an emotional response, look at that. Do you feel the need to defend? To attack? Time for some looking inward. Self protection results in war. Besides, the war is in each of us. Stop that war, and the rest will take care of itself. (For some suggestions on the nature of dialogue, please click here)

checking...

I must have checked eight or ten times a day...always the same message, both on the screen and in my head.  Error.

the bottom line is that the database had been filled and thus was moved to a larger database to resolve...

Re: checking...

It is my understanding that the database increased tenfold.

There was no reason for the closure other than the filling of the database.

As always, what an opportunity to see how the mind is functioning, life is so giving of opportunity in this regard.  Something goes astray from routine and the mind searches for it, as it is conditioned to do, right?  This is what K pointed to and any situation that alters what is typically done is primetime viewing, if the looking is right.

Re: checking...

It certainly is a strange feeling to visit a web site with expectations it'll be there same as usual, and get a nearly blank page instead.

Then to question briefly if Anonymous had hit the site, or if someone was protesting SOPA...but, nah.  :-)

Re: checking...

well we are built to interpret, from day one...that is what is.  However, we have also the ability to see this interpretation machine fire up if there is attention to what happens.  Then the choice is clear--do we dig into it and find out the real truth or do we follow the imagination train down the tracks and just put the thought on repeat mode where it builds its own strength and weakens the strength of vision?

there is always a separation involved in that thinking that is not understood...a glorification and meaning all wrapped up neatly together.

Re: checking...

this forum has plenty of new age idealism showing its face still...not as much as a forum devoted to it of course but still a fair amount.

would be interesting to hear from them, dont remember if i made a contact with such minds in this forum......do you know someone recently invested in the awaiting experiences of the new age movement?

I am such a mind, a new age mind. I just dont get this nonduality stuff. I am struggling big time with Ramana at the moment and just dont resonate with this nondual stuff. I resonate more with new agey idealism.

No, not quite like that, that is not what I mean...but the seed of it sprouts the same flower, one that has a disconnect built into it.

By the way, I love Dannion Brinkley, read several of his books and look up to him. He has totally transformed his life since his NDE.

sure and it is easy to do, as it paints a pretty picture and it feels good.  See, the thing is, it is not mine to take away the meaning someone holds.  How am I to know the time when that person will be ready to see that all of it is them?

so as long as the mind is not free of believes, there is trace of the new age idealism....we dont even have to call it, new age....is such mind NEW? did i catched your drift?

you did indeed...always a posit of oneself *and* the great immensity.  Perhaps a glance at oneself *as* the immensity but never really a dive.

That is undertandable, believes and ideas are not just one day journey to combat. But you are questioning your believes are you not? do you accept the ideas as facts? i do not have such impression about you, but may be wrong.......

Yes and no. I question a lot, but I am sure there is a lot I accept as facts which are just ideas or opinions. I am just enjoying reading your thoughts about Dannion, new age, etc. Keep it up.

I find it interesting Magnetic that you keep finding all of these interesting websites, people, teachers, teachings, etc. Wonder what this says about you and your seeking or purpose for going there, hanging out there, etc.

No need to answer, just am writing my thoughts out loud smile

You still had the K Ning forum to hang out in while this one was down. That place can be interesting at times too, and it is related to K, supposed to be at least.

I guess you really are fond of this K forum all of a sudden. That is cool too. I am still back and forth between here and K Ning. Sometimes I think the K Ning is where it is at and other times I am drawn back here. What to do with myself smile

thats how it works, you chop some and some you keep as support as you do not yet realize they are SUCH, but as your energy increases you will notice it, and then you chop them as well......as long as you question and chop, you will awaken self-knowledge, there is great joy in what-IS as YOUR BEING, not someones knowledge(idea)

I probably wont be going back to the new age chat room, its just moves so much energy in me i cannot catch myself and will say something they do not ask for..hahahahahahha better keep away

Funny that you say that magnetic...about 6 months ago I was permanently banned from an Eckhart Tolle forum for saying something they did not ask for.  I lasted a total of 2 days and...bang! I was cast away like a spiritual leper. Oh well. lol
