Kindly be mindful of the following points regarding the forum. Dialogue is thinking together - it isn’t debate - and it's inquiring together without end point or agenda. People come into the dialogue from their own place of understanding, which is not going to be your place of understanding. We’re here to communicate together, learn together and gain insight into our own thought; to receive and share our observations, not impose our views on others. Address the comments in a polite, considerate manner. By all means, ask for clarification, but challenge the comment, not the commentator. We don’t know enough about the others to make those judgments and we’re here to learn about ourselves, not to correct another's perceived personality flaws. If a comment brings an emotional response, look at that. Do you feel the need to defend? To attack? Time for some looking inward. Self protection results in war. Besides, the war is in each of us. Stop that war, and the rest will take care of itself. (For some suggestions on the nature of dialogue, please click here)

you can make begning and endings at your focused intend, and observe any framework of consciousness. And then again remove your focused intend, and observe the non-structured way of consciousness, no begining and ending, the MAGNIFICENT Self-Existing non-structured EXISTANCE it-Self, and again you can inquire and observe another portion of the consciouss field if you find it interesting.

Re: open thread

My understanding is that they did not say the world would end, only that time will end.  I see that is a big difference.

Re: open thread

what i read somewhere is the mayans knew the pattern of the moon circling, you know how it has some sort of unpredictable cycle, it comes up at different times and different angels, well that full cycle ends on december 21th this year.. and starts anew.. that's all.

lets write some wierd new way of seeing it, and publish it, people make milions publishing different versions, and milion people love to read different versions of whats the FUTURE holds for Humanity......my seat on Fiji wont be cheap.

lol...since time is a concept with which we measure, the ending of it may be tied to the absence of measuring.  Another way of saying--lack of distance, or all connected...

yeah, i cannot accept the whole world ending on the 21dec as predicted, cause there is different time zones. In Fiji it will be still 20dec. But true believes dont want to hear it, and i will be the only one going to Fiji in Dec/2012 to have the best sit on the Planet, watching it ending.......

so there is trick to survive it, but the windows is 1second long, one must act really quickly. When on Fiji is about to turn 21dec, and more then half the world has ended and coming towards Fiji, right before turns 21dec, one must jump to the other side where it is 23th, and bagaboom, but must make sure to get female companion to populate the world after it ends.....

Good one mag, let me put this on my calendar.
