Hi babs, nice to see ya. I have a feeling you were probably never on that flying carpet, either, or not for long anyway.

Of course. Good luck with that though, even most of the news is really gossip and propaganda.
Aren’t you with me with that?
Are you on the dark side of the news agencies?

Of course I agree that gossip and hope must stop immediately...again and again and again.
Nope, have not gone to the dark side (that one anyway).

Just noticed, almost missed
That’s what I love you for

Very kind of you to say, natura.

Well, you are confusing love with kindness -- my mistake
I should have written:

"That's what I love you for"
Careful, natura, you're going to start a discussion on love and conditional "love" ;-)

Jesus might have ended up saying what the Buddha & K said had he lived I feel. It is misleading to judge him by the few years he had.He looked to me was beginning to say the same thing. Even the manner in which K described things evolved(just the description)over the years.

I believe there were about 5 to 10 different cultures that believed the exact story long before the christian version and jesus came along. The rumor of jesus going to india as a young lad was started by new agers if i'm not mistaken. K himself was coined "jesus of india". And what are the ties that bind and keep all these stories together? Followers of course. People that shoot the message in favor of their vision of the messenger, and the hope that they might some day achieve such lofty heights. Usually at the expense of the message. Sauce for the ego though.

Newer mind, it lasts since ever, anyway
So, what love would you prefer to be loved with, conditional or unconditional?

(I think you mean "nevermind")
Isn't love/compassion dependent upon whether ego blocks it? So there is the condition of the ego. May your love be as unconditional as possible, grasshopper.

Ok, what are the myths about Jesus? What did people make up about him? Even if you didn't see it, you can't help knowing this.Jesus is as real as Santa Claus.

Are you joking?

More theory, more conclusions. Again, you're sacrificing yourself when you speak through another. Have a voice of your own, anybody, please, let's talk, not through others.See my last response #491 Today 21:17:33
to you in the tread ‘Was K too serious?’
I've responded to that, indirectly. There's no intelligence when memory acts as a source, you see. It doesn't matter how precious you think some words are-they're only precious if the come from the truth RIGHT NOW, as one speaks. If not, meaning as quotes, they're garbage, sorry.

There were experts who investigated and found quite a different story from the one you're accustomed to.

He may have existed, but the story had to be different from the popular version.

So myth no.1: was his mother a virgin (at the time of giving birth)?

Yes, I do mean it, thank you. I’m stumbling pretty often over the spelling, I know, sorry. Just to keep the main track.

‘Love/compassion’, I assume, you mean unconditional love.
I think it doesn’t depend on anything at all; as well as it is not gradual.
‘Grasshopper’, who is that? Is that me? Is that your sign of love?
Anyway, just remember we started from

keep it as a bench mark, and believe me, I’m a serious person (sometimes, of course, but don’t let on).
So, do you know what’s here written or it’s just written?

I'm not accustomed to anything. I've decided that all I was taught was gibberish when I was ten.

Natura, my grasshopper friend (meant affectionately, as in we're all learning), compassion (the action of love) cannot flow through a person caught up in ego patterns. So a condition of compassion happening is for there to be no ego blockage. Can we agree on that?
No, love/compassion is not gradual, but may happen more or less frequently depending on a particular person's operations.
Do I know what's written here? I know what I am saying, and believe I know what you are saying --do you understand what I'm going on about?

The tale of jesus seems to convey the usual behaviour of society or authority: When Jesus was born most of the male babys were killed in that area to prevent his birth, which was foretold to be the coming of a new age. After a short life span Jesus was killed by state authority for not obeying or questioning general opinions and rules of conduct, and though saying his interest (kingdom ) was none of the (political) world. Then his followers were persecuted and killed. Then the ones which survived persecution through the ages established organised reilgious authority themselves and persecuted and killed the ones which were no followers.
The myth that his mother was a virgin seems to indicate that women/ the act of conception were considered as wordly or, not holy and not apt for the beginning of a new age. Maybe that was added later when catholic church decided that only males can represent god on earth.
