Kindly be mindful of the following points regarding the forum. Dialogue is thinking together - it isn’t debate - and it's inquiring together without end point or agenda. People come into the dialogue from their own place of understanding, which is not going to be your place of understanding. We’re here to communicate together, learn together and gain insight into our own thought; to receive and share our observations, not impose our views on others. Address the comments in a polite, considerate manner. By all means, ask for clarification, but challenge the comment, not the commentator. We don’t know enough about the others to make those judgments and we’re here to learn about ourselves, not to correct another's perceived personality flaws. If a comment brings an emotional response, look at that. Do you feel the need to defend? To attack? Time for some looking inward. Self protection results in war. Besides, the war is in each of us. Stop that war, and the rest will take care of itself. (For some suggestions on the nature of dialogue, please click here)

Re: wonderful world

Who am I to judge whether beauty is a reality for you or not? You say it is present, fine with me. I'm not going to prove it's an utopia.  Not because I might be wrong, but because it's not for me to prove such a thing-rather, it is for you to discover it.

Re: wonderful world

the discovering is already present, in its fullness.  No discovery needed.

Re: wonderful world

That's why I asked: 'Why are you here'? To sharpen your language, you say. For what? Do you intend to show beauty to others, and you want to aquire the 'proper' language to do so?

Re: wonderful world

Language is a practical skill....like building a hut or climbing a coconut tree.

This body needs coconuts, and huts, and symbols.

Re: wonderful world

And what will you try to communicate, when the skill will be sharp enough?

Re: wonderful world

You are talking of your own body, not of other bodies. To not be concerned with others, is that beauty?

Re: wonderful world

you are attempting to make it all personal, out of desperation(the survival of your story depends on it)

I'm inquiring into it: is the concern with one's own body not personal? Me, me, me-the hell with the rest.

the body has no concerns. concern is of the mind.

Does a nursing mother make sure all the other babies on the planet have milk from her breast first?   Your logic is evidence of total desperation.

Re: wonderful world

The body includes thought. To be blind to what's happening around one, isn't that still thought, enclosed in itself?

See how thought is hiding behind 'body needs' now.

Re: wonderful world

An animal may not be aware of what's happening in another jungle, on another continent. A human is, you are. And to be blind to that is the action of thought, unlike animals which know no better.
You're much clever than an animal, and that cleverness is blinding.
