Kindly be mindful of the following points regarding the forum. Dialogue is thinking together - it isn’t debate - and it's inquiring together without end point or agenda. People come into the dialogue from their own place of understanding, which is not going to be your place of understanding. We’re here to communicate together, learn together and gain insight into our own thought; to receive and share our observations, not impose our views on others. Address the comments in a polite, considerate manner. By all means, ask for clarification, but challenge the comment, not the commentator. We don’t know enough about the others to make those judgments and we’re here to learn about ourselves, not to correct another's perceived personality flaws. If a comment brings an emotional response, look at that. Do you feel the need to defend? To attack? Time for some looking inward. Self protection results in war. Besides, the war is in each of us. Stop that war, and the rest will take care of itself. (For some suggestions on the nature of dialogue, please click here)

Re: Who wants to talk?

To put thought away requires intent and therefore more thought.
To relieve on ourself of our thought we must see our thought in action.
Actually see thought coming from the brain and in that seeing there is clarity in the relationship of our thought in our lives and, as K says, with right action we can be free of the influences of our thoughts.
Until then our thoughts are who we are and we are not seperate from our thoughts.

Are animals at zoos domesticated? Fully? Or do they still contain some of their wildness? From the little I know, they are not fully domesticated and still cannot be trusted even for a second. For in that one split second, the zookeeper might be killed.

But I definitely see your point that you make often that man has become domesticated and has lost his animalness. K was never domesticated and thus was a threat to the system.

Domestication is conditioned.
We are speaking of freedom from conditioning which might be described as 'wild' as compared to domesticated.
Wild and unpredictable and free.
Maybe you can only see domestication because you can only see yourself.

Re: Who wants to talk?

No , I didn't know. Is it because there are a lot of spammers, or because some people use multiple identities?!
Either way, we appear to be stuck with what we have now.

Enjoy the new day, awareness! Not you, you understand...enjoy it without a subject, I might say.

Every animal on the planet is conditioned, and always will be, including the human. Conditioning is not the issue. One can be conditioned to see illusion for what it is, or one can be conditioned to fall for the myths and stories.

There is nothing wrong with a domesticated monkey or human, I just prefer not to live with one in my house, nor am I interested in mating with one.
