Kindly be mindful of the following points regarding the forum. Dialogue is thinking together - it isn’t debate - and it's inquiring together without end point or agenda. People come into the dialogue from their own place of understanding, which is not going to be your place of understanding. We’re here to communicate together, learn together and gain insight into our own thought; to receive and share our observations, not impose our views on others. Address the comments in a polite, considerate manner. By all means, ask for clarification, but challenge the comment, not the commentator. We don’t know enough about the others to make those judgments and we’re here to learn about ourselves, not to correct another's perceived personality flaws. If a comment brings an emotional response, look at that. Do you feel the need to defend? To attack? Time for some looking inward. Self protection results in war. Besides, the war is in each of us. Stop that war, and the rest will take care of itself. (For some suggestions on the nature of dialogue, please click here)

Who wants to talk?

Not casually, though.

Talk what? Many people talk. Talk about the nature of the mind? Well, those who see the resolution to the whole of human suffering is just a matter of changing views radically.

Is it a matter of changing views? Of changing patterns with other patterns? Or of getting completely outside the pattern? That is, to me, the function of a human being.

Re: Who wants to talk?

Ok, so nobody wants to talk. Good, at least we know we aren't serious.

Re: Who wants to talk?

When people die in wars perhaps we should stop joking around.

Some don't see the difference between being stern and being serious. Seriously. :-)

Not changing patterns with other patterns. Ending patterns altogether.

Why do you say nobody wants to talk? I want very much to discuss this.

You were the only one with a serious reply.

So, how is a human being to step out of pattern?

Re: Who wants to talk?

So you've made up an image of what it means to be "serious", ha?

Re: Who wants to talk?

Being "serious" couldn't possibly be an "idea" now could it? lol.  Nah, bruce is free of ideas...he only speaks in facts.  (this post is not at all serious of course)

How? Then it brings in action based on knowledge. Then it is already a pattern.

That's a stupid question, obviously.  The body either senses danger or it doesn't.

Re: Who wants to talk?

you can negate spirit (and its fumbling, hesitant enquiry) all you like
sooner or later, your own faith will be sorely tested
and your body will betray you

Re: Who wants to talk?

those past month , death , in the sense , the body will die , there will not be continuity for me and my kids had been and is a everyday seing + all the rest of it like the state of the insane world and all of it...I was not searching it was there , it was revealed by itself from its hidden location and is exposed now...permanently....

First having found by luck ? to be the disturbance, to let it free , I was then capable to deal somehow and up to a point with impermanence ,with the end.....well yes , perhaps and so what ?

This is where it starts being deeply interesting , the disturbance, the fear of death or any other fears which are indeed all escapes in fact yes fear is escape, the anxiety , the insecurity and so on , when they are kind of left free , they reveal about themselves , about their root and they say whatever they have to say, and this is then understood by the (all ?) mind , the mind which is still a children mind , so basically in fear of the dark so in search for a secure comfortable shelter...and this "doing" shows facts like: I am in pain , then I leave it free ( I need to find my own way into that )..and here will be revealed much vital stuff....the fear of death is for me now in fact the search for permanence, the search for permanence is the craving creating the fear of death....and not the opposite....but again to be satisfied with words brings nothing....more needs to be "done", much more.

Does it say ?
it is only and again as always what should be versus what is...smile THE deadly fault..

it may be that any disturbance, pain ,sorrow is then the symptom of a division created by the analytical mind in a field or subject where there should not be any division ,like : death is only death end of the story...
it is not only the symptom but the catalyst to fix the problem entirely....it is then a warning of wrongness....Mother Nature talks to us...smile a formidable shepherd....

Pain, sorrow, disturbance is a sort of language for us, a guide , the guide ?????????????????

What danger? You're too quick for your own good. You can't jump in without explaining what you mean.
