Duality doesn't only involve group identification...there are many more subtle forms.  Many.

What about what one needs? It is not true that everyone needs the same things at the same time. There are definitely innate preferences, inclinations and styles, as well as preferences based on the stage of life one finds oneself in. For a old man, a nice shady tree and a cup of tea might great. For a toddler, a playground is much more interesting.

Then there are those who grow best in an environment of support and communion. Others grow better in an environment of challenge and solitude. Then are also those who need therapy and get upset by the slightest noise. And then there are those who don't care about fixing themselves as much as giving there gift to the world regardless.

So the insistence on dialoguing in a particular way is a narrowing and only invites policing. My approach is: if you need to go to the hospital, then go there. If you need to go to the boxing ring, then go there. If you need to hold hand with your friend and chat, then do that. Just be clear on what you want, yet recognizing that this is not the only way of life for all beings.

This is interesting for me, because I also feel that there are different styles and approaches. But I'm not sure that is all work all lovey-dovey like that, because power is power, and power has a funny way of setting the atmosphere. The loudest, most aggressive, rambunctious, abnoxious, indifferent, confrontational, superficial, whatever, tends inevitably to set the tone, or at least continually disrupt it.

A person in ripped jeans who strolls into the public park with a boom box and starts a ganster rap competition with his buddies, has no problem whatsoever with the two people sitting by the tree trying to take a nap or have a serious conversation. But the reverse is not so much true. Well, particularly so if that rapper's objective is to interfere with the conversation or take over the "territory."

It's lovey but not always dovey. It's lovey-snakey too.

Hahaha yup, that's true too! And so sometimes the birds have to weed out the snakes before they get too big.

Thank you. I swear I felt really bad after re-reading how I reacted to you and immediately saw how you were exactly right in all you said. I am amazed at your penetrating insights into me and others at times. You were so right on. I was indeed looking at that moment for another group to join, to find refuge, security, etc. My fragile little ego couldnt take the heat and was looking for support since RJ and Eden and some others didnt want anything to do with me. I really saw this. Thank you again.

If I have so many delusional beliefs, surely out of compassion you would have pointed one out by now.....I'm still waiting.   As for being spontaneous...as a matter of fact it comes naturally when the heart is wide open, and when there are no shells of separation and fragmentation to cover it over or impede its raw and primal expression. 

Had an awesome day here in Cali myself....Put a cover on the car and tuned up and pumped up the bikes for the summer.  Festivals everywhere.  Markets galore.  Beautiful conscious and open hearted people everywhere I turn.  Can't help but bump into them every time I turn around.  Quite the phenomenon in this little town.

If one is spontaneous, does one still continue to talk about and analyze non-spontaneity? In fact, does one even see it anymore at all?
