Kindly be mindful of the following points regarding the forum. Dialogue is thinking together - it isn’t debate - and it's inquiring together without end point or agenda. People come into the dialogue from their own place of understanding, which is not going to be your place of understanding. We’re here to communicate together, learn together and gain insight into our own thought; to receive and share our observations, not impose our views on others. Address the comments in a polite, considerate manner. By all means, ask for clarification, but challenge the comment, not the commentator. We don’t know enough about the others to make those judgments and we’re here to learn about ourselves, not to correct another's perceived personality flaws. If a comment brings an emotional response, look at that. Do you feel the need to defend? To attack? Time for some looking inward. Self protection results in war. Besides, the war is in each of us. Stop that war, and the rest will take care of itself. (For some suggestions on the nature of dialogue, please click here)

Every animal on this planet is "choicelessly aware". It's nothing new at all.

Can it be? Because awareness is of the senses. There must be that which is. There has to be that.

However it's best we discuss something way down the line! Something real to us, isn't it?

That is real to me...it is my moment...

kirsten wrote:

No, Kirsten, maybe it was not that bad, but I fell some time on my post, à sarcastic response from people, also about my English,ect...but I think maybe this is Americano.
Is à long way from Italian, and brazilian culture, when we make our best to acommodate people as possible, and try to make their happy, sorry, I appoligise, but I have also my comments, so I did comment about awarennes, and THE response from THE majority of people is not about, but being à little sarcastic, I do not believe it that THE message of k, was to not respond direct to people inquire, and do you know, how in THE moment is important to me to be here, put out my doubts and work from there,
Thank you

Re: Is nothing in THE world as pure awareness

I remember when I first started posting over at the old kinfonet...Dano ripped everything I said into little pieces and spit them back at me, or so it appeared to me anyway.  Welcome ekanta, bitterness is the aftertaste of spitting out our own conditioning.  Have patience as you find these conditionings exposed through sarcasm.  Natura is a piece of sweetness compared to the Dano of old.

Re: Is nothing in THE world as pure awareness

Ekanta, the italiano, braziliano, americano, indiano cultures are all the same, trust me, in the sense all ego based cultures.  However, someone who has seen the absurdity of their own cultures and therefore breaking free from all identification is a truly free individual and such an individual cannot be italian, american, etc, etc but just a human being free of the limitations of the self.  That is what matters and not who you are by your blodd, or culture, or nationality.  Every culture is arrogance personified and every culture thinks it's self to be greater than the rest, but that is all ego based activity.  Here, on this forum we can perhaps meet as humanbeings and that's the beauty of it.  Now have a wonderful day!

Re: Is nothing in THE world as pure awareness

Ekanta, I have deleted my post.

Is nothing in THE world as pure awareness?

What do you mean by this statement? Are you raising the question, 'Is there no such thing as pure awareness?

Well, if that's the question, it would tantamount to asking , 'Is there awareness without the interference of the past? Just awareness of what is' ?

To that I would say yes. Because thought is after sensation. First we see , then the imprint of it creates memory & the recognition of the same imprint is the process of thought. So thought is after sensory perception. So there is awareness without the interference of the past.
