Kindly be mindful of the following points regarding the forum. Dialogue is thinking together - it isn’t debate - and it's inquiring together without end point or agenda. People come into the dialogue from their own place of understanding, which is not going to be your place of understanding. We’re here to communicate together, learn together and gain insight into our own thought; to receive and share our observations, not impose our views on others. Address the comments in a polite, considerate manner. By all means, ask for clarification, but challenge the comment, not the commentator. We don’t know enough about the others to make those judgments and we’re here to learn about ourselves, not to correct another's perceived personality flaws. If a comment brings an emotional response, look at that. Do you feel the need to defend? To attack? Time for some looking inward. Self protection results in war. Besides, the war is in each of us. Stop that war, and the rest will take care of itself. (For some suggestions on the nature of dialogue, please click here)

Poor eden who feels heckled and labeled, and whines and screeches like a cat if anyone ever talks to him, and then he asks others why they do this and that!  Eden, how dumb are ya, man!

This body doesn't feel heckled in the slightest and finds it all mostly hilarious, so your analysis is pretty silly as usual.

I know people who truly feel and see the abundance of life, and their words show it. They don't waste their time heckling and name calling in forums analyzing the infinite variations of unconsciousness on the planet and separating themselves from it so they can hurl labels and 5th grade insults.

Even K pointed out that life is one movement, which it is. Yet here you are, fragmenting life into various movements so you can ascribe silly little names to them.  Not that there is anything wrong with that.  You will probably grow out of it in time.

Sheer nonsense, you do not have a clue as to how your words contradict your actions so there seems to be no connection like as though you spout things you pick from second hand self help books.  So I negate all the rubbish, and you do not like it.  Please if you do not want anyone to question and negate the rubbish you write on here, don't get on to this forum.  Better sit at home and repeat,"life is one organism" a thousand times to yuorself looking in the mirror.   If you want others to feel the truth of it with you, then you must inevitably show that in the way you address others, but you do not know how to communicate with anyone, so there's much to learn for ya there.  If you left your pride, vanity aside you could learn and flower in fullness and abundance and for a change even look deeper beyond all the rubbish like,"life is one organism' which you keep repeating like an old gramaphone recorder.

I know you won't like it, but there's quiet no place like Montreal, esp it's people.  Here the artisits rule.  People have a great love for art, music and there are many good studios and lots of plays and theater.  It maybe the only place where art and life mingle together.  The other day I had a contract with this big artistic group, documentary makers and animation artisits, etc and the folks were the coolest.  You shoulda seen the guys and gals all completely blown away with pearl and her presence.  The women were so gracious and the guys simply blown away but really cool people.  The guys from Montreal are really chilled.  Well, ofcourse it's a two way flow of energy and they all felt it as much as I did.  Not just them everyone else does.  It's an enigma.  But the moment anyone tries to possess, control it back fires.  No words what is being learned, unlearned every day!  And oh everybody is interested in the project and have nothing but great feedback.  I love what I do and they feel it in my work, and there's nothing like love in a love starved world.  The fire catches on quickly.

As for hot guys the hottest guy I know in person is from Montreal.  And I never quiet understand why my heart jumps out of it's socket when ever his eyes meet mine.  Something quiet extra ordinary takes place.  Now, this is strange as there are hundreds of males who are attracted to me every where I walk, but I never feel the same way.  Not important for you to know all this, but just sharing, take it or leave it.

It's just been one heck of a great ride these past couple of months and no words can really capture it all.

With that shared got to say good night now.  Time to put my baby to bed and sing him a lullaby and watch his sweet, beautiful, innocent face go off to sleep peacefully...ahhh nothing beats that.  In that face I see eternity, I see all of lifes' riches and beauty.  Truly what a marvel of all marvels.  Gotto run..

You ever heard of a place called NYC?

There are many places on planet earth where "there is no place quite like it, especially it's people".  Kauai, Marin, NYC, Montreal, etc.  I assume you are just sharing your feeling in the moment. Of course this feeling really depends on what particular "art" you are attracted to.  Glad you are truly enjoying it.  I'm sure it is an awesome city, in it's own way, and I am sure like many places it has people of every spectrum of consciousness and openness.

That's funny roots and the last one reminds me of my washing machine that I opened up to fix a part and have not found the time to fix it.  I know exactly what the problem is but only have to find the right piece and keep postphoning but I like opening up machines and fixing them, hahaha...the other side of me you do not know of...:-)

It was my line of work Pearl. If you're sure you know what's wrong no problem, but if not you can try me with the symptoms if you like.

Wonderful Roots, and I am aware that it was your line of work.  Living alone with my son I'm becoming quiet a mechanic myself and have figured out that the lid switch was broken...so opened up the whole thing and yet to fix it.  If you lived near by and still worked then I could work a few hours as your assistant and learn more about the machines, well ofcourse until I joined a nudist community.lol!

So long as you UNDERSTAND THE DANGER that the machine will still work even with the lid open, you should be able to short-out (i.e.electrically bypass) the lid switch and save yourself the cost of the new part. It's not something I would ever do to a customer's machine but there's no reason why a person who is aware that they are removing a safety feature (and who makes others who might be around the machine aware also), should not do it to THEIR OWN machine.

Be well Pearl.

Re: Fun fun fun

yes, I do the same with a lot of the 'safety' features they add onto saws and planers and such...but it does come down to understanding what the machine will and will not do.

What ever wires are passing through the switch, just connect them (colour to colour) missing the switch out. Disconnect the machine from the supply before you do anything. Make sure you make good, sound connections (because a poor connection can heat and cause a fire). Make sure you insulate the connection(s) properly from other wires and from the machine, and secure the wires away from moving parts.

Hi Roots, thanks, I did disconnect the whole thing and one of the wires in the lid switch is broken in the middle and so I thought I might have to get a new piece because I'm unable to connect the broken wire with tape.  But until I can find a new piece I use the laundormat which is not far from home.  I don't feel upto spending a 45$ just for a lidswtich.  I found one on amazon.com for just 8$ but they won't ship it to canada.

Kids and Childbirth

Due to a power outage only one paramedic responded to the call. The house was very dark so he asked little kathleen - a three year old - to hold a flashlight over her mother so that he could see to help with the delivery.

Very diligently Kathleen did as she was asked. Heidi pushed and pushed and in due course little Connor was born. The paramedic lifted him up by his feet and patted his bottom and the baby began to cry.

The paramedic then thanked Kathleen and asked the wide-eyed little girl what she thought of what she had witnessed.

Kathleen's response was quick and forthright:
'He shouldn't have crawled into there in the first place; you should smack him again'.

Re: Fun fun fun

Had to post this one for you all . . . .

An outlet was offering a 'seniors breakfast' at £2:50, consisting of all the usual 'full english' including two eggs.

The old lady didn't want eggs, but the waitress advised the couple that without the eggs they would have to charged 'a la carte', £3:50.

Incredulous, the old gel agreed to have the eggs, but she would have them raw and in the shell. They took them home and baked a cake.

Tee hee!  . . . . Don't mess with the old 'uns, 'ey willy!?
