KFA - Krishnamurti Foundation of America

Is it any wonder why it is closed for membership  if it is ? What is a learning inquiring mind without using possessive instincts, and animal identifiers to condemn or accept apha  male, and female behavior, or submissive behavior patterns, as any real norm in the Art of Inquiry in life ? Does I know the solutions to psychological problems you do not, belong  here at a self learning place ? Most are familiar with liking, and not liking other animals because of their kiss up traits to authority, or their challenging of authority? Or for  their obeying, and accepting of authority?  What would make this a learners, or beginners place, if too many think they are coming along fine, towards their own becoming? Those who have  not made a good mirror yet to see ourselves as animals and having come nowhere exceopt to caveman, and cavewoman bullying, or vain arrogant assertions, or berating  by the most vociferous amongst us here ?  including the Adam, and Eve types, and Jewels positing ourselves  as dried up knowers repeating K. as if his humble state was our  vain state  ?  Maybe many are not learning anything good for the sake of learning itself ?


Are you most of you not fed up with go and be free, or biblical rhetoric, or berating from Adam and Eve, and the snakes in the garden or the circus ? Can you see to  as well as the pretend monkeys, that  if we are not pretending we  are running this place demeaning others self righteously, religiously, morally we would be lost ? If we are not thinking we are wise, or the cream of the crop here what are we ? If we really want to make this beautiful mirror for ourselves, and learn together with those who really do? Most have already  been beaten down by life enough already? Quite  frankly we really do not need it here because, demoralizing, and demeaning, and bullying does not work to teach anyone about life ? Except we can learn together  human beings are sometimes cruel to each other because of their agression, and ambitious natures, and negative moods, and inner unhappy state .See  to not  even the Alpha monkeys, or the bullys in the cults learn by being beaten down to a pulp verbally, cleverly  or physically in life . They usually just refortify their own self isolation, and with their self powered ego lights continue beating their heads against the walls of life living in the venge wreaking violent past .  :-)

And one would like to help - no, that's the wrong word - one would like in education to bring death into some kind of reality, actuality, not of someone else dying but of each one of us, however old or young, having inevitably to face that thing. It is not a sad affair of tears, of loneliness, of separation. We kill so easily, not only the animals for one's food but the vast unnecessary killing for amusement, called sport - killing a deer because that is the season. Killing a deer is like killing your neighbour. You kill animals because you have lost touch with nature, with all the living things on this earth. You kill in wars for so many romantic, nationalistic, political, ideologies. In the name of God you have killed people. Violence and killing go together. As one looked at that dead leaf with all its beauty and colour, maybe one would very deeply comprehend, be aware of, what one's own death must be, not at the very end but at the very beginning. Death isn't some horrific thing, something to be avoided, something to be postponed, but rather something to be with day in and day out. And out of that comes an extraordinary sense of immensity.

This mean that thenforun has developed a disease, a neorotic behive in which of course can be a mirror in all of us, but is coming here very clear...
Just some people I thinkmprefere to jump in the wave of criticism and neurotic behive than to whatch the wave and let the wave goes, just let go, and stay with the best the wave bring to us...

the closing of the forum was the easy way to deal with spamming messages, i understand it asks for almost a full time job to do it differently.. anyway, new members can not register now, so it's up to us to make of it what it is.

thinking together and looking together at the human condition, the mind, its cleverness, we probably do that already for ourselves while being here, or being wherever we are.. but can we do it together here also, human beings investigating into the mind we share, looking at what we do, looking into why we do it, expressing our views, seeing reactions, pointing to eachothers reactions, watching our own reactions, seeing we all are the mind.
