Well, apparently bruce thinks he is some kind of intense mind not seeing that he lacks the intensity, integrity that he accuses others of lacking, an inflated ego.

Bruce lacks everything, especially integrity because he is fiction!
Fiction doesn't have any integrity whatsoever, just an imagined integrity.

I never said children were intellectual, so as usual you are speaking to your own ass. Define intensity.
I didn't say you did.
I said that, it's my statement. Because children are not intellectual, they have more energy.
Adults are NOT children!!! Hence, they have less energy!

Intensity? What is intensity?
Very simple: it is not different from compassion for your fellow human being. Which is so huge, it cannot be contained in a few well-chosen phrases, in discussion with no dynamic whatsoever, moving from metaphor to metaphor, and getting lost in them, taking them for the real thing, being clever and making smart replies, all that and much more is NOT intensity.
Compassion cannot succesfully be defined, nor understood by a blind mind, which is the majority's mind. It most certainly CANNOT be understood through ANY word, through ANY symbol.

Ahhh yes...back to compassion. The word you cannot define. Since you cannot define it with words, do you at least have a video or picture?
Perhaps I could pay you to watch you live your life for a few hours so I can see what it looks like?

Compassion and bruce as a person have nothing in common, especially since the person is fiction and compassion is not.

Only compassion 'recognizes' compassion. Even when it's under its nose, the lack of compassion cannot possibly see compassion.

I see....and how many dates does it take to recognize compassion?

But your love for that woman is not a fiction right, bruce? :-)

It takes one split-second! In one split-second the lack of compassion is gone, and so compassion starts making waves.
PS. You guys, there's something wrong with 'my' connection, and I can't answer certain posts. Tomorrow there will be no problem. I will try to reply as much as I could, because some are ok, some are not.

My love would be fiction, because I'd be in there. But when I'm not, and when am I(?), love 'has no choice' BUT to be there.

Pretty much. No 'getting to know someone' is necessary, is it? Surely when you meet a girl, you know within a few seconds if it is there or not.

Is there what? We were talking of compassion, which has nothing to do with a particular girl, not of a physical attraction between two bodies, because there is no attraction between two minds-that is just bogus.
The attraction is there, it's nothing spectacular, it's a small affair: a suitable female shows up in bruce's life-(in response to your other post, the big bruce is just as shallow as the little bruce)-and does that change anything? Not at all, it's still a small affair. If something happens, fine, if not, not. I usually make sure she knows what she's getting into, I don't want her to have any surprises later, and sex for its own purpose is out of the question for me.
And with surprises gone, she will, too!!!

ok :-)
But not only for her, but the love for the poor man begging on the freeway ramp, for the homeless-which is a terrible thing- for everyone who suffers.

Sounds awesome, bruce and I do wish you and this suitable woman all the best. Maybe you just found the love of your life who knows.

It did cross my mind, fleetingly. I can assure you though she will be just 'one more' added to the list of rejections.

If she's just going to be another then why pursue this thing with her even psychologically?

I'm not. Whatever happens, happens.

Alright. I wish you and her the very best. And thanks for sharing.

Indeed, it is all a small affair. Why are you wasting your time with small affairs?

Small affairs attract small affairs. My guess(its not a guess) is most of the places you hang out are filled with people and their small affairs.
