Kindly be mindful of the following points regarding the forum. Dialogue is thinking together - it isn’t debate - and it's inquiring together without end point or agenda. People come into the dialogue from their own place of understanding, which is not going to be your place of understanding. We’re here to communicate together, learn together and gain insight into our own thought; to receive and share our observations, not impose our views on others. Address the comments in a polite, considerate manner. By all means, ask for clarification, but challenge the comment, not the commentator. We don’t know enough about the others to make those judgments and we’re here to learn about ourselves, not to correct another's perceived personality flaws. If a comment brings an emotional response, look at that. Do you feel the need to defend? To attack? Time for some looking inward. Self protection results in war. Besides, the war is in each of us. Stop that war, and the rest will take care of itself. (For some suggestions on the nature of dialogue, please click here)

Oh my goodness Joe. Time and again you sound softly like a teenager complaining about things of teenage time. And it happens again and again, especially with Pearl. I remember one time Bob wrote a long message explaining unfortunately lengthily about how he defended this or that person under your curiosity. And, why are you so interested in such little things, instead of more serious inquiry into your own book of life and then publish your work for me, so that we have more footing to understand each other? For that, you say you cannot tell, but for things like Roots’ praises on me, which I never open a word of reception of it, you carry it with you???

I am tired of explaining it again for you Joe. I have been working on it, with and without the forum, much less Roots the occasional exclamation. I mean, if sometimes I love the work of Willy, or Bruce, I do jump aboard and exclaim: oh how I love you, friendliness, exploding joy I found a seer and such. What is wrong in it for the long term then? Do I follow it in a corruptive way? Do I corrupt or spoil my wife when everyday I say to her: Oh how I love you baby!! Gosh, that is stuff we do from time to time.

First time Roots said it, I felt awkward but second time he discussed with Pearl, I stopped it. Simply put. I think you like to do psychology more than this difficult K stuff.

Si, you are ignoring the actuality...it has happened for roots entire time on the forum, and this is the first time you said anything about it.  Again, if you do not understand what the problem is with it then there is no point in addressing it, and from what you are saying your conditioning is to not correct immediately but to wait.  But this is cultural conditioning, one of the very basic messages K has put out.  I have asked you in roots previous time here and also again since his return to see it for what it is and how it is not generative toward 'serious' enquiry.  My discussions with samata are childish when I join in the childishness that the posts are typically constructed of, so guilty do I plea there.  So there it is Si, the challenge of facing the cultural conditioning is right before you.  Will you stay sensitive to me mentioning it or face the conditioning for what it is and no longer follow it?  I am not trying to piss you off, really.

Re: K and the Big Bang

Joe, I admit that I didn't stop Roots right away to his face and that is my character, part of it. As long as I see that it is not corruptive in me, I don't hurry to bother. RJ rated you as the honest Joe but I am not like you. Inside I can say, damn, how can he set me up as examples for others??? But if it is not seriously damaging anything, I will ignore. Plus, he is not an asshole overall. Also, I don't want to get sticky into personalities. I am not perfect.

Now, If I did take the chance and said one word for my own selfish gain, I would be guilty as charged. Last time I mentioned that flattery and insult are the same, leaders and followers destroy each other. But if he did it again, it was his problem. The problem is, I don't engage with Roots, for I see I cannot agree with him but I fully respect him and leave him alone.

Side observation: I see that K was rather indirect when addressing human problems, and he always said, it is not you personally, sir... I cannot copy him for it is my charracter but that does not mean K was ignoring the actuality. Now, if you watch UG, I ran into him for same last name as K, the guy was harsh and direct and almost cursing... but it does not mean he was catching actuality.

yeah, UG certainly had a different way than K.  Ok Si, I can accept the difference in culture being the factor and it helps make sense of it for me a bit as well.  Not that that matters much, the learning is always new or it is old, eh?  To explain my own conditioning or perhaps understanding, to not address it in the short means to address it later it is then much heavier, so I never understood you letting it be without a word.  I do understand it more now, thanks for taking the time.

Not your discussions, but you are childish rather and so contribute nothing of significance to the inquiry.

I have no doubts about either of them-and by saying that I'm not putting them in the same bowl, quite the opposite. No need to have personally known either of them: the words are speaking for them.
