I too enjoyed the perspective of RJ before he got burned at the stake. That dude is still there but different now. Both are images and identifications, yeah yeah, but this image is caught in the pain of what happens when you buy a load of crap and carry it further only because it is what you now know.
buck up and meet us here old friend, the fire is just getting warm.
What goes on with identification?oh Joe!

mock all you like, if that's your response to my asking what you would like to talk about then I guess that tells me everything I didn't need to know.
And Bruce is of course free to mock my son doing a degree in psychology, Neither do I need to be told why he thinks the way he does, my God, will he ever shut up about up himself?!
so what has he done to find his own way to make a living?
he is clearly young,
is he a man
or is he a parasite, making excuses, deluding no-one but himself?

I think it is an excellent message.
So can we say that the outer, visible talking is the prolongation of the inner one?
The inner chatter coming up, from some depth of our consciousness which we cannot really see clearly enough, on the upper level and get mixed up with the current thought we have already got on it. Right?thanx
i'm not sure about what comes first..
when being born there is much blank,
and conditionings color the inner and outer. So, Kirsten, you don’t see you might have got any prehistory of your life before you were born.
You think everything, including conditioning, was spontaneously started from scratch since two human cells, male’s and female’s, met themselves in your mother’s womb.
At this particular moment it was decided you will be developing as a female Kirsten with all uncountable amount of your other qualities including all timetable like start and end of your puberty, growth and some psychological attitudes to life that are usually called ‘inherited’.
That’s alright, however, because neither we can prove anything, nor we can now see anything for sure out of our current state of abilities as well as we don’t want any pointless believing, speculations and arguing on this forum.
We can do only what we can. I think that’s the only right position.
yes..
ofcourse the dna in the two cells are an important condition to start with,
you could say it comes from previous lives, as the evolution of the specie,
but i don't think the inner talking has much relation to that ?

DNA is satisfactory premise for our conversation. I don’t insist we need to talk very much about Sansara, Karma and incarnations.
What I hope that we will come up to the point in our dialog to question the fact:
Who are you (with all your evolution) else if not only the inner talking?
But right now it’s still way too early to start it.
btw. when I say ‘question’ I mean ‘try to see’ and not just talk about it till we drop stretching a ‘soap opera’ into eternity.

no Joe, you are not here to please me or vice versa, I trust
only that if you do not more than know,
that if you do not feel, understand, accept
that you are your body
then your 'lab of self' loses all credibility
it is a famous projection of the mind, especially the male mind
that illness comes from without
we are innocent, guileless, only occasionally unlucky
look, it doesn't matter who knocks at the door (a fungi, a virus, a toxin)
your symptoms were obviously immune based
(hence the recommendation to read Bruce Lipton, which you didn't, right?)
your immunity carries more of your innate intelligence than just about anything your brain can translate into English, but it can hardly speak more clearly than it has
a 'dumb' system is not necessarily a stupid one
this is the point
what happens within is 'who you are'
and these things happen for a reason, always
we all of us have hundreds of microbiological life forms knocking every day,
usually they are not allowed in to wreak havoc for months on end
ignored, no inner change, the same state of affairs persists
the next knocker on the door comes to collect the debts incurred by the first, with interest.

everything happens for a reason, if I only had a nickel for every time I thought that...your certainty in this regard is suspect to me. Yes, I am aware it was an immunity based illness and that everything is connected, sure. Louise Hay style thinking is just not my cup of tea (pardon the lipton reference...)
Am I my body? I am not alluding to being something after the body is dead and gone, so dont take that the wrong way. I would say I am much more the state of my functioning overall than I am my body. That functioning involves thinking, movement, and sensation.

I do not follow or 'believe' in Bruce Lipton,
to be honest I find him too evangelical and long-winded to listen to for more than a minute
the point is that his biography gives him credibility and however he may be pointing like a preacher, his impression that cells have 'intelligence' is well supported by the facts.
but your 'con' here is very weak

can't you represent the skeptical atheist in your own words if that was your intent?

RJ, I have never considered myself as either a theist or as an atheist. I added that atheist side because I knew it would rattle your cage, and that you would respond.
The most I can sense is presence, and I have no way of assigning it other than as the presence of presence. It is what one sees in the eyes of any living creature, and what is missing when that creature is no longer alive.
Unfortunately, that light sometimes goes out before death.

you can't have a bet both ways Joe
either you are your body (including the biochemistry and neuronal networks of your brain) or you are some kind of consciousness (mortal or immortal is irrelevant) inhabiting your flesh.
if it is the former then there is more need to dissasociate yourself into finding causality for a sickness in emotional states, a la Louise, than there is in blaming it on the bugs.
if it's the latter, well, you're lost, no-one can help you, thank you for playing, goodbye.

certainly not the latter but now I am trying to make sense of your line--"there is more need to dissasociate yourself into finding causality for a sickness in emotional states, al louise, than there is blaming it on bugs". Can you say that a different way so I have a new shot at understanding it? It sounds like you are saying--in balance we are better off treating the Hay way of emotional healing than to put energy into the bugs that carry disease. Is that what you mean?

ok, so adding that to it I still am not feeling you RJ...;-) What are you saying, anything beyond your initial implication (belief) that everything happens for a reason? I agree that there is cause and effect irrevocably in life and living but I do not think that is quite what you mean, is it?
