Kindly be mindful of the following points regarding the forum. Dialogue is thinking together - it isn’t debate - and it's inquiring together without end point or agenda. People come into the dialogue from their own place of understanding, which is not going to be your place of understanding. We’re here to communicate together, learn together and gain insight into our own thought; to receive and share our observations, not impose our views on others. Address the comments in a polite, considerate manner. By all means, ask for clarification, but challenge the comment, not the commentator. We don’t know enough about the others to make those judgments and we’re here to learn about ourselves, not to correct another's perceived personality flaws. If a comment brings an emotional response, look at that. Do you feel the need to defend? To attack? Time for some looking inward. Self protection results in war. Besides, the war is in each of us. Stop that war, and the rest will take care of itself. (For some suggestions on the nature of dialogue, please click here)

Re: Cool Quotes.

Real in the sense that you were talking to me, there was/is a humanbeing typing from another part of the earth.  Psychologically you may not be, you do exist as humanbeing in  flesh and body.

Re: Cool Quotes.

A physical entity, which is the form. But that's not much. Which is why I said earlier that Ekanta is an illusion. Not the form, of course, but that isn't much anyway.

The only stupidity is the one of that of the message you posted, to be honest which again demonstrates your incapacity to pause and look deeply at anything.  And you personalize everything.

Look, firstly opennes is not something you can practise, that you can, is a delusion for than you are not even a wee bit open yet, not fully matured enough to look at anything without distortions.
For if you do, you'll see that, that which is completely open, and ever new is totally without a cause meaning completely independent of the "other", hence totally free of suffering/sorrow/time.  But you must first understand what it means to suffer, to be sorrow.  You must give it your complete attention, but like the majoirty you haven't gone into it, and so still stuck up between sorrow and joy, openness and closedness, the constant battle which is evident in words of your posts,  the fact that you do not give your complete attention to anything, rather it's on the surface, and very fickle attention.  You're content with it like the majority moving form one to another quickly, never fully staying with anything.  not just you, but there are a few tohers too who are not capable of going deeply into any subject, or topic at hand.  you have got absolutely no patience just as the tom's of the world who talk of patience but show none whatsoever.

Yes pearl, I fully realize that anything outside of K's perspective will be maligned by you, without exception.  It's all too predictable, and exactly the kind of patterns I am talking about. As you have said on a couple of recent occasions, you aren't "half as insightful as K".  So obviously it would be foolish for you to question anything outside of the bounds of K....at least not until you are "more insightful" than he.

And yes, this moment is totally open. Life is openness itself, ever new.  That is not in question. It is from that place that I say what I say.

Everyone has habits of closure...."practice" as I use the word is simply the counteracting of those patterns.  In the same way one does therapy on a muscle that has atrophied, or in the same way one puts a counterforce on a vertebrae that is out of alignment, so too one brings love into those situations which are habitually the most difficult to love in, to open in. In fact one may even chose to put oneself in those situations so as to push the limits of openness even further, to stay at one's edge, out of one's comfort zone, always watching carefully to see if one's capacity to open in love is indeed growing, or if it is just another trick of the mind.

Re: Cool Quotes.

There is no such thing as K's perception.  But you are stuck in all kinds of theories, ideas and so do not inquire further and keep repeating the same mumbo jumbo asbout being open, etc which are all ideas to you.  When one is looking, observing, seeing, for oneself perception is new, untainted by the past, and doesn't belong to K, or me, or any other.  The kind of 'perception' you talk of is tainted by your views, opinions, judgements and so is no perception at all.  It reeks of contradiction to which you remain totally oblivious.  I hope you wake up from your slumber.

After I go poop I usually wipe my anus with soft toilet paper.  Is that an idea?

That is not how the body works.  The body stores the past, naturally.  It's only a problem when the body stores myths.

If someone punches you in the face, you remember it.  The body stores the memory and next time the body sees that person it is looking to see if that pattern is still there, or if perhaps it has changed, but the memory is there.  This whole notion of being "untainted by the past" is pure bullshit.

Your understanding hasn't matured beyond being full of poop and bs, sir.  Wake up, or from where you are you can only see, touch some dead, rotten ideas of god, openness like some cultish guru's, another clueless david deida addict.

Re: Cool Quotes.

I'm not the least bit insulted, but the fact is they are attempts to discredit, label, demean, etc...which are all attempts to 'collapse' the other.  Of course it will take a whole lot more than that to collapse me, but you are certainly welcome to keep trying.

Eden, I believe you, I really do.

You are a wonderful human being with a lot of good insights to share.

I do not know why Pearl is so against you all of a sudden. It is strange to me to be reading daily her latest insults to you.

Usually, you two would make up by now and be friends again and have a mutual respect and sharing.

But it is nice to see that you are finally not backing down and keeping it real.

Not strange to me at all. Entirely common in fact.  When you've seen one mind lost in duality, you've seen them all.

Saint Eden, for you must be a saint to deal with us all, and all of our minds lost in duality.

I love you man, keep up the good work.

By the way, who is this David Deida that was mentioned often in regards to you? And do you read him? Is he one of your teachers? Do you think I should read him too?

Does Eden read David Deida? Have you ever read him? What do you think of David Deida? Do you think I should read him? Thanks....

He sent me a big file long ago of some david deidas video and that' how I know eden is his follower and looks upto him.  most of the stuff he writes here about women, etc, is his ideas from david deida.  Eden was highly exhilarated like an inflated balloon at that time reading david deida, but now he seems like a balloon with out air.  Anyways, carry on your discussions with your master guru, eden.  I'm off to work.

Thanks Pearl. At least you answered me, Eden did not. He was just playing his games as usual.

I have heard of David Deida but never read any of his material nor listened to him. I know there is a David Deida Meetup group not too far from me. I know it has something to do with Tantra I think....

Has to do with Masculine and Feminine energies, etc. But I personally make no such distinctions and am not too into that kind of thing.

I did read a little of Barry Long a while back, who is known for Tantric teachings along with being Enlightened. But I do not follow him either nor read him.... I just took a quick look at what he had to say and then moved on.

Eden is not my Master or Guru. He is just another fellow human being like us who is also self centered like the rest of us...

Yes, the entire human race is....

Personally I'm not into any teachers, any teachings, or methods, and don't read any books, or practice any techniques.  What is the need when you are fully immersed in living life moment to moment, observing, learning, inquiring for yourself without being dependent on any other.  Just wondering....sds.  Hope you've had a wonderful day.  (A most incredible day here, and no wasn't able to meet MF.  Wasn't possible to due to work, timings, etc.)

Thanks for the update Pearl. Sorry you were unable to meet MF. Maybe next time... But glad you are having a most wonderful day.

You remind me of K in that you are not interested in any teachings or teachers or books, etc.
I am still caught up a little in it.

Just like I still see myself as an American. I am at least honest as you say. I am at least not deceiving myself.

It is warm here now, 80 degrees. I sat out last night for awhile overlooking a little pond and watching the birds and looking at the trees. There was a few moments of silence and space.

I went to the pool this morning and sat in the hot tub and then relaxed and cooled off in the pool. I was admiring a beautiful water aerobics instructor who was leading the class. I would open my eyes and take in her beauty while sitting in the hot tub. I was watching, observing to see if it would turn into pleasure and desire, but it did not due possibly to my observation. It was just seeing what is beautiful, just like a sunset or a baby, and then it was left behind, not carried forward.

I plan on listening to a K interview tonight that somebody posted the link on K Ning.

I am a little tired today and worn down, but I am hoping to regain my energy tomorrow. As you noticed as I was off last night and too excited or whatever we want to call it. I need to calm down and relax some more. Thanks for this sharing and chat.
