Kindly be mindful of the following points regarding the forum. Dialogue is thinking together - it isn’t debate - and it's inquiring together without end point or agenda. People come into the dialogue from their own place of understanding, which is not going to be your place of understanding. We’re here to communicate together, learn together and gain insight into our own thought; to receive and share our observations, not impose our views on others. Address the comments in a polite, considerate manner. By all means, ask for clarification, but challenge the comment, not the commentator. We don’t know enough about the others to make those judgments and we’re here to learn about ourselves, not to correct another's perceived personality flaws. If a comment brings an emotional response, look at that. Do you feel the need to defend? To attack? Time for some looking inward. Self protection results in war. Besides, the war is in each of us. Stop that war, and the rest will take care of itself. (For some suggestions on the nature of dialogue, please click here)

This is a new topic; the old one was that there is no league of one-if one exists, as a loner let's say, then one is actually a group.
No identifications, no neutral entity to exist.

Now, the second challenge: I'm full of duality. Go ahead, prove it, back it up, don't just throw words out there.

Apparently you missed my 300 previous check mates, including the one in my previous post.

Any idiot can walk into a pre-school or a church and negate the little kiddies assertions all day long.  So what?  That's 99% of what you do here. The moment you make an assertion of any kind however, your duality is plain to see, and I have called you on it a hundred times, at least, literally.  How many dozen more times do I need to point it out before it counts?

So, do you want to take the move back, or do you want to continue and show specifically this duality; it shouldn't be that hard, since you say you'd done it before. Go ahead, show me the duality, show it to everyone, don't just keep it to yourself...

From 300 it grew to 1.000. That's what an imprecise mind does: it invents things to support its assertions.

So, for the moment, you are taking that move back, since you haven't found a way to sustain it: for the moment, that line leads nowhere.

ok maybe it was two or three years ago, but no big deal.  Not a security guard, not a bill collector, typing here makes you lose money, authority, reward and punishment...anything else you want to add?

Actually, that was sloppy, joe: a bill collector's job requiring movement and alertness??! It's like you lost track of what was said here half an hour before you wrote that. So much for a mind which wants to find out about another: which is why I don't take these questions too seriously.

a bill collector best be fast on their feet, if the bills they are collecting are in a certain part of town.  Slop that around a minute, as that is the bill collector I was talking about.  I did not say I wanted to find out about you, and in fact expressed the opposite.  What I am trying to do is see you for who you are.  I see that your thinking limits the way you receive words.  It is not personal just an observation.

"thousandth" is a figure of speech, obviously, so your reply is limp and swiss cheesey as usual.  is that really the best you can come up with?

So 1.000 is a figure of speech, but 300 is not?! Your figures of speech lack consistency.

I do not care what you want from me: understand who I am, or judge me or observe me-it's not my problem. What you want is your affair.

I was trying to show that people are not serious, in general, when inquiring about other people. And when I said movement I didn't mean walking.

Again, I repeat.  I do not want anything from you, just as I said above.  Why you keep seeing it is your affair.

Why are you talking 'in general'?  What good do generalizations do anyway, except dilute the waters?  I am talking to you, and perhaps soon you will be talking to me.  Or perhaps not, we will see.

Re: Ban-free thread

You may be included in that 'general'-you said bill collector when I said movement: if by driving a car from location to location you also mean movement then Bob D. also is included in that category, or was, since he quit; but that's not movement to me, driving a car; in fact cabbies carry around some of the biggest bodies in the city.

I said that it's your affair because you don't have to say that it's personal or impersonal: it doesn't make a difference to me if it was personal or if it wasn't, that's why I said it's your affair.

300 was an estimation, thousandth was the figure of speech. swiss cheese on the brain scan is the actuality.

Re: Ban-free thread

Chess has nothing to do with the perception of life: it is like a skill, any skill, but 'ability' to see the importance or lack of any skill has nothing to do with the skill.

Re: Ban-free thread

I have a little more than a week on here, and then going away for 3 weeks. No, I am not being institutionalized, or put in jail, at least not yet, but am going on vacation and do not plan on being on the internet.

So dont worry too much about me or think something happened to me, Just taking a break from here for awhile starting July 7th.

And dont worry, I will come back the same old sds, no change, or transformation at all, so dont even ask such things.

Precisely what does chess have to do with survival?  I seem to be missing the importance of chess skills.

You introduced something new: survival. Chess has very little to do with survival-it might, potentially, but most likely not. I was talking about the perception of life as a whole, chess or no chess, movies or not movies. Those activities do not change, nor do they facilitate the perception of the whole.
