You realize that you are betting and hanging your entire life on this idea/belief that "humans are in charge of the planet"? You do see that right?

It is so, although nothing is in charge of my life. A nuclear war is possible, despite your belief that it's impossible.

So I am logical after all.

There are things far more dangerous than a nuclear war. Try Fukushima for starters.

It is so, meaning the humans are in charge-I meant more than any other animal. Of course, Nature is at times far more powerful, but the combination man against Nature is even deadlier.

As powerful as humans think they are....ironically it is microbes that run the show, and it is microbes that will save our ass.

At times? lol. Deadlier for who? So one day nature is more powerful, and one day man is more powerful? lol. Again....I am proving you to be illogical, and fragmentary. Man and nature are one. One cannot destroy the other obviously, and nature is not at war with itself.

Man can destroy nature, and he does it-destroying forests, certain species. A nuclear war will destroy the whole planet...

False. A nuclear war would not destroy the whole planet at all...in fact there are many organisms that would survive and thrive....so again you are full of shit.
As for this claim that "he does it"....that is hilarious when it fact man has only spread seeds around the planet and sustained nature. Man is at worst a mammalian weed, and if you have observed ecosystems at all, you would see the value of a weed.

I was doing some weeding recently on freeway, so I know the value of weeding!
So you're ok with a nuclear war-you don't mind billions being killed over nothing?

Oh well...
I take it it's not possible then.

Brilliant logic. No communication is possible with those who jump to such absurd conclusions. Like I said, you are illogical and full of absurd beliefs. I rest my case.

You've minimalized the danger of such a war in a number of ways: the most obvious one is your perception of being ridiculous to talk to the 99%. Logic stands.
Offline
I talk to those who can hear. Talking to the deaf is absurd, and would be a wastage of energy, and thus a danger to survival, obviously.
Offline
But talking about listening and what it means, and when it happens, may change perceptions.

And just to show you how full of shit you are....while you've been playing chess, I've had conversations regarding Fukushima with some very powerful media voices who have huge audiences and big connections in the media. What's unfolding over there is going to do more to end nuclear weapons in the world than a million talking head bruceseans.

Perhaps so, perhaps so. Now what's all the fuss over this Fukushima? I usually don't watch the news, except occasionally.

Fuss? There is no fuss....which is the problem. What's going on over there is far more dangerous than the nuclear war you fear. Your lack of fuss is the very problem....do you not see the hypocrisy?

No, because I don't know what's going on there. I don't normally watch tv.

But really it's nothing....just 800 nuclear bombs worth of radioactive material hanging by a literal thread, and meltdowns and melt throughs that make Chernobyl look like a sneeze....but don't sweat it....who wants to play chess? Or shall we head to the movies tonight?
Offline
Go back to sleep....nothing is going on over there.

Oh, I knew that name was somehow familiar! Yes, the spill in Japan.
My problem is not the spill, but the whole society, any society, any country-everything: I've got a problem with everything!

It's not on TV, obviously. If you think the media would cover something relevant, you are smoking crack.

You have alot of problems....which would explain why you escape by playing chess and going to the movies. That is what beliefs do...they make everything into a problem. Thanks for the illustration.
There really is no problem of course. There are dangers and challenges, but no problems.

At least it was-the spill got extensive coverage at the time, perhaps I'm talking of an earlier spill, I don't know.

No challenges. But the whole thing is a huge danger, and so I'm not looking to fix just one fragment, like a spill or whatever, but the whole problem because it is a problem, it is our problem as human beings, and it must be solved at its core: the human ego.
