Kindly be mindful of the following points regarding the forum. Dialogue is thinking together - it isn’t debate - and it's inquiring together without end point or agenda. People come into the dialogue from their own place of understanding, which is not going to be your place of understanding. We’re here to communicate together, learn together and gain insight into our own thought; to receive and share our observations, not impose our views on others. Address the comments in a polite, considerate manner. By all means, ask for clarification, but challenge the comment, not the commentator. We don’t know enough about the others to make those judgments and we’re here to learn about ourselves, not to correct another's perceived personality flaws. If a comment brings an emotional response, look at that. Do you feel the need to defend? To attack? Time for some looking inward. Self protection results in war. Besides, the war is in each of us. Stop that war, and the rest will take care of itself. (For some suggestions on the nature of dialogue, please click here)

No screening process here. It's just a simple fact that as long as one is busy defending and re-enforcing a separate self, no communion or deep communication is possible.

Until your body grows beyond that point, all discussions will just repeat the same duality and fragmentation and all the same ego non-sense.

So from what I get from this, as long as my body does not grow beyond the point it is at, no discussion is possible between us.

Discussion does not interest me in the slightest. There are plenty of people here who are interested in that however so if that is what you are after, there is an infinite supply.

By the way Eden, your attitude is directly in opposition to what K's was.

K did not discriminate, did not make distinctions between people.

He did not break men up into the totally immature, slightly immature, and the mature. Instead, he just spoke to all, and those who could hear, would hear, and he would not be concerned about any of it.

You sure seem to like to categorize those who are like you and those who are not.

Good night SDS.  Wonderful talking to you.  You're so unique and don't let any one fool you into thinking you're anything than a marvel of life.  I'm going to be out now.  It's so beautiful outside you know.

Have a wonderful night. I am off to the hot tub and pool soon myself. Hoping for another fabulous evening by the stars and the moon.

I was out there last night just taking in the moon for hours sitting in the hot tub, at first by myself and then later with two ladies from Canada. We had a nice chat and even heard the coyotes howl a few times while in there.

Then I went inside to dry off and I sit in the indoor hot tub and just stick my feet in and dry off. And I just sit in silence and let the day go by, let all the tensions and agitations go. There is some moments of silence and space.

Thanks for the kind words, as always, they mean a lot and I sense your sincerity. I am learning more and more about communion and true meeting of two people, and it is nice that we are able to meet here, truly.

Always a delight to know about your day.  Sounds cool sitting by the pool and watching the stars, ahhh.  I just got home after a wonderful jog in the snow and all clean and freshened up.  Should see me now all clean and shiny with my freshly showered black hair all dangling...and flowinf freely.  Oh no now, kirsten is going to get at me for seducing you now.  I couldn't stop laughing at how she sounded like a typical step mother earlier accusing me of seducing of guys.   "how dare you talk to guys?" Totally uncool and presumptuous.  Imagine if everyone were so closed and shut out and uptight like her how boring the world would be, but it seems to me she cannot fathom how anyone could be different than her.  Very typical of her.

I'm gonna have some dinner and do some bit of work around the house.  Bye for now, SDS.

Pearl, stop seducing me smile

Yes, tonight the planet Venus was near the Moon along with Jupiter. It was a beautiful sight.

But as nice as my night was, it was very sedentary, just sitting. Yours was active and invigoriating. Cool that you were out running in the snow.

While sitting tonight I was reminded of K not discriminating between his listeners, between those who were immature and those who were mature. He would just speak to all, and let come what may from it, whoever understood it, good, and whoever didnt, good too. I wrote about that to Eden. For I think it applies to him and might help him to see that his approach might be wrong.

Exactly, you don't wanna be around controlling, possessive males or females.   Nothing to learn from such control freaks.

I seriously do not understand why some people like RJ like to make comments about someone they dont even know.

It is okay Pearl, he can say whatever he wants, I just do not understand why he is not trying to have a dialogue, a discussion with me, rather than just putting me down....

I am right here, if he wants to talk.

Listening to what you say. :-)  I don't think eden or others here will change though.  Mostly they are content with what they've accumulated, and stopped learning, discovering about themselves anew in relationship.

I cannot get through to him, but I think you might have the possibility to.

Learning never ends, as K taught, and I see too, learning from moment to moment, that is real discipline or learning, not some accumulative process.

If he did stop learning, that is indeed sad....

You have made some disparaging remarks about me lately. I would like to know why.

Do you not like some of the things I have shared in here lately? Do you not see that I am a serious person?

Maybe talk to me a little about the teachings before jumping to conclusions about me. Get to know me a little....

I am willing to look at myself and see if I am any of these.

Can you explain more for each one of these why you think I am them.

Sanctimonious - Why?

Voyeur - Why?

Self-deluded - Why?

Sycophantic - Why?

I had a feeling you would just want to talk about yourself

not interested sorry,

stop acting that way and I will stop the commentary,
or I'll probably just stop noticing, whichever comes first...

Re: Cool Quotes.

We all talk about others at times, it is inevitable, that is the human condition it seems.

But for some people on this forum, it is their main purpose for being here it seems.

Instead of wanting to talk about K's teachings, which is why we should be here, they rather analyze the analyzer rather than discuss the teachings.

Very sad indeed. But what is one to do. Just ignore them and continue talking about the teachings with those who are interested.

If I can choose, I will just add hypocrite to the list. I knew it was coming for I have been hypocritical on here many times, including even today.....

I can own up and see myself clearly, can you say the same for yourself? That is the question...
